white

It's been all white and dusty at our place since Monday, as they've finally come to renovate and paint part of our apartement that suffered from water damage in August 2010 (yes, 2010, I'm not kidding). Needless to say it's been a year and a half of calling, writing and raising my voice until the agency that runs our building finally decided that it was an emergency (welcome to France).

Tomorrow, part of our place will look brand new and cleaner than ever (yay), but for the moment, it's a total mess. Pans and pots in Swann's room (for his delight), dust everywhere (I mean "everyf*ckingwhere" like someone from Chicago would say) and a nice smell of paint that just makes you want to run away. As unusual as it sounds, I can't wait to vacuum, tidy up, and clean up. I'm ready for a huge spring-cleaning weekend!

Have a lovely one ♡

Oh, the cutie gets to do the cooking ;)

Happy renovating! I must say things can be like that in Finland as well - the same story everywhere! But good that you'll get it done now.

Have a nice weekend!

Having a big blogging catch up... Firstly happy birthday! I'll be joining you when I'm 37 later this year. Hope the painters are gone and your place looks fab. Pots and pans are really the best toys (add some dried pasta and Henry is in heaven).
