Sunday at Parc de Bercy

It was Easter day for us today. Since I am not religious in any way, I have to admit that Easter means chocolate to me before anything else - I know, it's a shame... Before lunch, the kids searched for eggs (real ones and chocolate ones) in the apartement and on the balcony - Who's the dummy who put chocolate eggs outside on a sunny day? I plead guilty... By the time they found the eggs, they had all melted, which opened up the road to a nice and sunny argument between me and my man...

Our funny little Easter rabbits.
Searching for eggs...

The great weather is still going on in Paris and today we went to Parc de Bercy, which is near our place. Again playing ping pong, laying on the grass, looking up at the trees and the beautiful blue sky... Our baby was singing on his little blanket, trees and children's laughters made him happy...

Parc de Bercy.

A very elegant couple walking by...

Old French Merry-go-round, with Motown music playing!

Then we came back home and I made one of my specialties (which I learnt from my daughter's grand-mother, Florica): kiftele. These are Romanian kind of fried meatballs. I'll post the recipe if anybody wants to try them.
We ate sitting on the couch and watching "Rio" (great movie). I love eating on the couch  watching movies for kids...

Palais Omnisport de Paris-Bercy (POPB), a big stadium where they have
sport games and concerts (Lady Gaga was there not long ago).

On our way back home...

Dinner: black-eyed-peas salad, rice salad, fried okra,
devil eggs, kiftele and chips...

...and a strawberry milkshake.

Can't wait to read that!

You should have seen this couple walking along the alley at Parc de Bercy, people stopped to look at them, they were so dignified and totally unexpected there!
