food

Today I am wearing a skirt (which is rare enough to be mentionned here) and I am eating French: a sandwich* (read it with a French accent) and a pain au chocolat aux amandes**. Is it in the food that you can tell where somebody is from? Or is it in the way they dress, or speak, or move their hands? I like that details make us who we are.

* feta cheese, dried tomatoes brought back from Roma by my mother, basil, carrots, and olive oil
** for me, one of the best French pastries

Have a lovely day sweet Anabelle

Your food sounds delicious, I've been saying sandwich over and over in my head with a french accent! Ha not a good one I'm sure!

Polly, your French accent can't be worst than my British Accent :)

Fait maison en plus! I completely agree - in France I'm the American, in America I'm this weird combination of Franco- american...with foreigners we are all foreign... Bah! It's frustrating - in a good way;-)

ton sandwich a l'air trop bon...
