Sunny

It's not sunny really outside, but there's a sunshine in me. Deep inside I want to believe that we're going to be alright, despite all the problems piling up around us. As long as there is love...

I made felt and fabric garlands, listening to Julie Peel. I am wearing a leather skirt and I'm not even going anywhere. I just wanted to feel pretty today. Maybe it's because I tried a 1st wrinkle cream last night and am seriously considering buying one for the first time. Maybe because I will be 37 in less than a month and if I could choose, I would say no thanks, 36 was old enough... What happened? I feel like I am still 26 in my head. What did I miss? Is it really time to grow?

Thank you for your lovely comments on my Today post, and for sharing your thoughts with me.

Ha! I had the same thought yesterday as I looked in the mirror! Lovely song, thank you for sharing....I believe keeping positive is so important, being thankful for what we have. For the beautiful children and people in our lives....oh and the lovely, inspiring blogs we read and share :)

Love the fabric garland - lovely idea.

I've started on the wrinkle cream too! I'm on my second bottle and about to start the third! As I looked in the mirror this morning I did think it was working though in a small way and it made me happy : ) Gosh wouldn't it be wonderful if it could make me look 26 again! Also came across a blog the other day 'advanced style' http://advancedstyle.blogspot.com/ have you seen it? Lots of wonderful old ladies, so inspiring, with them as role models I don't think we need to worry too much ; )

Oh "no thanks" is just a wonderful idea! I'd like to stop time as well. Time flies.
